Members of the popular Chilean band
La Ley (The Law), known for weaving social themes into their
song lyrics, respond to Tierramérica's questions:
1.
When it comes to the environment, what is your law?
--
Don't bite the hand that feeds us, don't spit at the sky.
|
|
|
2. And
a law for good living?
- Definitely the same one.
3. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the
word ''poverty''?
- Imbalance.
4.You sing: ''So many satellites in the communications era.''
Are they still not enough to truly connect us with one another?
- We humans have proven that we are not evolving through technology.
What good are all those satellites if there are eight million people
starving to death in Africa?
5. If you had to go to outer space to stay for a long time, what
would be the first thing you would take with you?
- My guitar.
